School opened at Dexter on September 4, 2008 with 461 students in Kindergarten 1 through Class 12. Students returned to campus to find new classroom arrangements, renovations to the Athletic Facility, and a number of new teachers. Parents are invited to join students at the New Boy Assembly, which will be held on Wednesday, September 10, at 9:00 a.m. in Fiske Hall, on the Dexter campus. Each new student in grades K1-8 will be welcomed into the school in this traditional assembly. In addition, parents of students in Classes 1-8 are invited to a Parents’ Evening on Tuesday, September 16. Further information about parent events and upcoming schedules will be mailed to families. The Dexter website will be refreshed to include all of this information in the coming weeks. The Dexter community looks forward to welcoming new and returning families to our School.
